Helix nebula

Helix nebula

The Helix Nebula, also called the Eye of God (or the Eye of Sauron), shows us a star in its final moments. This painting captures the outer layers of a dying star spreading out into space, while its core transforms into a white dwarf that will endure for an immeasurable time. For another 10 to 20 thousand years, a clock-tick compared to a star’s lifetime, what we see is the bright ghost of a star bidding farewell, a fleeting beauty that will soon become nothing but dust among the constellations.

Which of the white dots is Helix's white dwarf?

In the dark it looks more like this

And when we shed lights we get

We can only picture how colourful the sky would be inside a nebula.

Or what other shades of violet and ultraviolet would we be sensitive to.

Or picture it from novel angles.

Or which of the white dots is Helix's real white dwarf.
